Many people and groups have helped us, this list is sure to be incomplete.
The Province of BC has funded important initiatives throughout our history. So has the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako. And the village of Hazelton, the Town of Smithers, The District of Houston, the Village of Granisle, the Village of Burns Lake. The Omineca Beetle Action Coalition. Many public servants have been involved throughout. Laurie Gallant and Susan Brookes have been our contractors for program delivery over many years. Norm Zirnhelt of Cariboo Environmental Quality Consulting prepared our current Community Action Plan for Clean Air. Leroy Reitsma of Canfor Houston and now Pinnacle Renewable Energy gave freely of his time, likewise Paul Schwartz of West Fraser’s Pacific Inland Resources mill in Smithers. Doug Bysouth of Hampton’s Fraser Lake division has been a long serving director. Frits Goossen has been on the wood stove trail throughout our history.
Inclusion and multi-stakeholder participation have been key to our viability and representativeness.
