Whether you are a new resident, an employee at a local mill, or a valley pioneer, your contributions towards making our Clean Air Plan successful are appreciated. From technical research to school presentations, your skills and experience are valued by our group.
a) Become a BVLD Airshed Management Society Member
There are no membership fees but the benefits are rewarding. Members automatically receive our bi-annual newsletters and Member Alerts announcing upcoming events or the issuance of a health advisory resulting from poor air quality. We do not distribute our membership lists.
Community Working Groups are established in Burns Lake, Houston and Smithers. Members of a CWG will participate in the implementation of the Community Action Plan for Clean Air at the community and regional levels. This may include the following activities:
