Public Notification on Smoke Management Plan

Smoke management plans have been instituted for the Bulkley and Nadina Districts to enable participating burn operators – basically forestry slash burning firms – to work in a way that improves on the provisions of the Open Burning Smoke Control Regulation. The Plan is rewritten each year to take advantage of opportunities for improvement. This presentation will highlight provisions of this year’s Plan.

In addition to a presentation by the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations there will be food, drink, maps, handouts and opportunities for discussion.

Doors open anytime after 6:30 PM on September 27th, wraps up at 9:00 PM.
