Spring is in the air

Back from a family trip abroad and find that it’s still firewood season but there’s a shift in burning habit. Instead of stalking the fire for the night we’re burning a short hot fire in the morning and then a slightly larger fire in the evening. We don’t care that it burns out overnight – it’s such a small fire to start up in the morning and only really needs to take the chill off before the sun hits around 9:00am.

This is the unloading of my last load of firewood – paid for by 2 good friends great gift idea! Ed and Jerry are known as 2 of the hardest working guys in town. Their wood is always dry and they always deliver – just wait – it’s worth it!
