went to Burns on Saturday for a new wood stove. Here is what I noticed at departure and along the way. Definitely different weather between home and Burns – it had more moisture in the air and fog. The whole day, the airshed was dark and overcast.
trip-to-burns-1On the way home, Houston was coming in with the best air quality that afternoon, though still not great especially if you are fighting a covid, flu or colds.

It seems the emissions from the mill and pellet plant were blowing away from town. Along with smoke from slash piles just north of the town.
