went to Burns on Saturday for a new wood stove. Here is what I noticed at departure and along the way. Definitely different weather between home and Burns – it had more moisture in the air and fog. The whole day, the airshed was dark and overcast.

On the way home, Houston was coming in with the best air quality that afternoon, though still not great especially if you are fighting a covid, flu or colds.

It seems the emissions from the mill and pellet plant were blowing away from town. Along with smoke from slash piles just north of the town.
