Ruby runs an off grid camp where you can rent 1 or 2 cabins on Owen Lake just outside of Houston, BC. The ranges or cook stoves in the cabins are propane but outside there are these wood stove fire pits! These stoves use dry seasoned wood so compared to a regular fire pit there is less smoke, less wood used and less risk of spark or embers thrown. And what a view!
